XLVI Faces: Jim Walker
Jim Walker is founder and executive director of Big Car, a nonprofit community creativity organization based in Indianapolis. He also manages the Second Story youth writing program and works as a designer, public artist, photographer and writer. He started his career as a newspaper reporter and photographer, finishing at The Indianapolis Star in 2007. As an artist, he has shown photography, collage, video, installation and performance work in galleries, museums and public places. Jim is also a member of the team who worked in connection with the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee to develop the concept of XLVI Faces.
