This will be one of the better concerts to come through Indy in a long time. Foreign Exchange is the duo of Phonte (of Little Brother) and producer Nicolay, who hails from the Netherlands. (I’ve been a Foreign Exchange fan since their 2004  album, “Connected“). To me they represent a hip,  smart hip hop spirit that doesn’t limit itself only to hip hop.  After you cop their latest album “Leave It All Behind”,  you’ll understand what I mean.

As if you needed another reason to cop several tickets, I’m opening the show! Whooo hooo!  Shouts to ProCircuit for bringing one of hip hop’s elite acts to our great city.  Get your tickets here.

This is the next level in iPhone app madness. This is one of several apps in development that will bring augmented reality to your iPhone lifePhone.  Look for this around September-ish.  I can’t  imagine what kind of capabilities will be available 3-4 years from now.

The L.A. Times reports that Apple will begin allowing developers access to the tools they need to produce augmented reality applications starting with upcoming iPhone OS 3.1. While there have been many impressive demos floating around showing the possibilities, these applications have used unpublished APIs which prevent them from being allowed on the App Store. Apple, however, told one developer that the tools necessary would become available with iPhone 3.1.   – Macrumors.com
